HOW DOES CHEMICAL PEEL WORKS?
Chemical peel is an umbrella term for any peeling involving chemicals. Doctors use different concoctions to address different purposes.
It varies from active acne, wrinkles or dull skin problems. Among famous concoctions are the Salycilic acids, Jessner Peel, Fruit Vitamin and others.
What it does is it absorbs into the first layer of the skin which makes it peel off (thus the name, chemical peel).

Worry not, although the process seems like it hurts, it actually don’t. After the procedure, there will be slight redness and your skin will appear dry and flaky.
Don’t remove the skin with your fingers, but let it fall on its own. Touching it with your finger may induce inflammation or spread unwanted infection to the vulnerable skin.
RISKS
For Chemical Peel, there’s nothing you should worry about the risks. The procedure will be done by our doctor here in The Luxe Clinic (unlike some other centers where the therapist are doing it).
Normally there will be redness after the procedure, but this should not last until the next day.
You may also notice some slight peeling, which is normal.
